For all questions concerning courses given by the NHN Marco Roos is the contact person. He can provide you with information about course descriptions, admission requirements and time tables. Dr. Roos can also help find a suitable Bachelor or Master project when the listed research projects on this website do not completely match your interests.

- OCB
With all your problems and questions related to your biology study you can contact the OCB (opleidingscommissie biologie).
This comity consists of 5 students and 5 teachers (for the NHN it is Marco Roos), the student delegation is elected every autumn by all biology students. The OCB advices the Director of Education of the biology institute. They discuss all elements of the biology study, from the exam regulations to the student coffee machine. The LBC (Leidse Biologen Club) is a social club just for biology students. They organise parties, drinks, excursions and each year a 7 day vacation. As a member you have discounts on most study books, but also at parties.
